When designing applicators, we were focused on the functionality and performance of the product. The appearance of the products is related to their function. The shape of the black foam applicators fits most wax cans so that wax can be applied evenly to the foam. In addition, the applicator is shaped that way so that users can work the entire surface of the product with even pressure. We have noticed that using liquid products affects the absorbency of the foam which increases the use of the liquid (this is especially true for products with a thick liquid or water consistency). Therefore, we improved the applicators by adding a layer of tight hard foam. When the foam absorbs too much liquid during work, just press the applicator harder. That way, the liquid product will be released to the surface and will not flow out of the top part of the applicator since it is protected by the waterproof foam.
